It increases nutrient absorption and aid the digestive process. It provides carminative and antispasmodic effects and provides strength to digestive system. Thus it is help to increase overall digestive power and boost appetite. Appetol, though not a de-worming medicine helps to regulate Worm infestation which is one of the commonest causes of anorexia in children.
Actions:
Regulate gastric acid secretion: The ingredients Appetol regulate the gastric acid secretion & stimulate the gastric acid secretion in stomach thus useful in treatment of hypochlorhydria (insufficient stomach acid).
Reduce stress and CRF induced anorexia: Appetol decrease the stress thus improves hunger. These ingredients also decrease corticotrophin releasing factor (CRF) induced anorexia.
Increase nutrients absorption and aid the digestive process: Herbal ingredients in the syrup have ability to absorb nutrients contained in the food and aid the digestive process.
